2 British EOS® clients have won Queen’s Awards for Enterprise in 2019 – the biggest and most prestigious awards for UK business, designed to recognise and encourage outstanding achievements worldwide.  The winners were recently invited to Buckingham Palace to meet Her Majesty The Queen in recognition of their outstanding success.

2019 Award winners BioStrata and Microlise both work with Dean Breyley Community Leader (Europe)™ and Certified EOS Implementer™ of Grow or Die UK to run the Entrepreneurial Operating System™ (EOS).  EOS is a complete set of simple concepts and practical tools that has helped thousands of entrepreneurs get what they want from their businesses. By mastering this simple way of operating, leadership teams of growth-oriented companies systematically and permanently improve.

BioStrata won an Queen’s Award for International Trade.  As a specialist marketing communications agency, BioStrata connects companies in the life science sector with customers worldwide, to assist in the adoption of cutting-edge products and services that drive scientific discovery and impact the world. This award recognises BioStrata’s international growth and success, which has only been made possible by the team’s commitment to the sector, and its dedication to providing quality work and excellent customer service across its valued client-base.

“BioStrata is motivated by delivering results for our clients, but moments like this provide an opportunity to thank our valued industry partners and our international team for all their support. The year-on-year growth marked by our Queen’s Award helps us to invest in our people and in nurturing creativity and innovation, and to strive for greater success for our clients,” comments Clare Russell PhD, co-founder and Managing Director of BioStrata.

Paul Avery PhD, co-founder and Managing Director of BioStrata, adds: “BioStrata’s specialist focus on life science marketing communications set us apart internationally and in the UK. Our deep scientific knowledge, dovetailed with extensive commercial and marketing expertise, means we can communicate effectively with the international audiences who life science companies want to reach. We effectively turn technical data and application information into creative, inspiring messages that resonate with customers and drive action. We know how life science customers think, feel and buy – after all, we used to be them.”

Microlise Group Holdings Ltd won an Queen’s Award for Enterprise Innovation.  Having secured the award for International Trade in 2018, Microlise has been recognised for leadership and pioneering development of driver performance technologies. Innovations have resulted in fleet operators being empowered to reduce fuel usage, increase efficiency and improve safety standards.

Chief Executive Officer, Nadeem Raza said: “Innovation is in our DNA and underpins our credentials as a global leader in telematics and transport management solutions.  For almost forty years, we have invested in research and development to develop real-time customer solutions that support both driver safety and operational efficiency.  We’re delighted to have once again been honoured with a Queen’s Award for Enterprise, in recognition of the dedication, hard work and commitment of our 480 strong team.”

A Queen’s Award for Enterprise is probably the most prestigious accolade that a UK business can earn.  The winners are an inspiration to all UK businesses, having demonstrated a substantial and sustained growth over three consecutive 12-month periods, to a level which is outstanding for the products and services concerned, and for the size of the organisation.  Both BioStrata and Microlise work with Dean Breyley of Grow or Die to implement the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), following a process that has been proven to work with thousands of companies world-wide.  EOS contains simple and proven innovative tools to strengthen each component of the business.  The result is a healthy, focused leadership team and an organisation that makes continual progress towards achieving the vision.  Professional, full-time Certified EOS Implementers are intensively and continuously trained to maximize the time and money invested in the system.

Dean Breyley from Grow or Die comments, “By fully and completely implementing EOS, we help companies to achieve things they never thought possible as they become one of the most healthy, disciplined, focused, and productive companies in their space. Working with BioStrata and Microlise and being part of their journey to achieve a healthy and focused company has been extremely rewarding.  As Queen’s Award winners operating EOS, they are extremely well equipped for continued growth and part of a collaborative support network of thought leaders for life”.
