How The EOS Process Works

To begin, someone will need to play the essential role of “EOS Implementer” to guide a leadership team through the process. This can be a person on the leadership team or a professional implementer outside the company.

1. 90 Minute Meeting

This introduces the leadership team of a company to EOS, getting everyone on the same page so they can decide if they want to use the system and tools to strengthen their company.

2. The  Focus Day

A day to give the leadership team tools to clarify who’s responsible for what, set priorities, improve communication, resolve issues and track critical numbers. The leadership team then uses their new tools in their business for the next 30 days to experience real improvement.

3. Vision Building Day 1

Another day with the leadership team that starts by reviewing and sharpening the Focus Day tools. They then begin to use the  V/TO™, Vision / Traction Organiser™, tool to clarify their vision, starting with who they are, why they exist, what they do and where they are going. They will also get a great tool for reviewing their people.

The team again uses their tools in their business for the next 30 days to experience more improvement. This is a spaced-learning approach which has proven to be most effective for quickly gaining proficiency with the tools.

4. Vision Building Day 2

Another day with the leadership team to master the Focus Day tools and continue using the  V/TO™ tool to complete their vision, clarifying their Marketing Strategy3-Year Picture™, 1-Year Plan and priorities for the next 90 days.

With the leaders now focused and all on the same page, they use the tools for the next 90 days to execute their plan. They will see more improvement.

5. Quarterly Sessions

A day with the leadership team every 90 days to evaluate their performance, refocus, set priorities for the next 90 days and resolve any issues that might impede their progress.

They experience measurable growth and improvement every 90 days – traction®.

6. Annual Sessions

2 Days with the leadership team each year to work on team health and update their vision and plan for the next year and next quarter.

The result is a healthy, focused leadership team and organisation that makes continual progress towards achieving everything in their vision.

Dean's insight has transformed our business. The methodical framework of EOS works so well for us but Dean's input and ability to ask the right questions goes far beyond his role as an EOS practitioner.

I was a bit sceptical before the session, sometimes these types of courses can be all jazz hands and no substance but I was very pleasantly surprised. The first session felt really positive, every theory was well explained and every toolset felt relevant. Walking through each scenario with our own real business challenges rather than "hello world" examples meant everything was useful to us and by the end of the session I actually felt excited about tackling even our trickiest tasks.I would also say these courses are only as good as the host presenter and Dean was great. Clear, articulate and very good at keeping to the agenda whilst allowing for deeper discussions where needed.Looking forward to our next meeting.

Dean's quarterly sessions have been immensely helpful in getting us to step out of the day to day, see the issues and opportunities in the business and set some clear rocks for making progress. Dean's approach to running the EOS methodology is amazing. He has such a natural style for getting the information out of you, and getting the team to be clear and on the same page. Since working with Dean, our business has gone from strength to strength and we're super focused on what is important (and what is not).

Dean has been a true inspiration and great Implementer in helping Penta along its EOS journey as swiftly as possible. We're in transformation from Good to Great to become Great by Choice. Why operate your business in any other way than modelling the superstar performers who are best in class!

Having stumbled across the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) after reading Rocket Fuel, I knew this process was exactly what we were looking for to scale and grow our business with the right people. We started self implementing the process but realised after 9 months that we hadn't quite got it right and we needed some help. Our choices were, continue to self implement, Hire a consultant, hire an EOS Integrator. That's when we came across Dean.Dean got stuck straight in with the entire team and has been instrumental in helping the Senior Management Team get on the same page with a clear vision and goals and helped us drive the business forward. He continues to support us outside of his quarterly and annual sessions and his passion for seeing his clients succeed is ceaseless. If you don't know what the EOS system is, get stuck into the books by Gino Wickman and get Dean on your side to help implement and accelerate traction in your business, I would highly recommend him, his EOS tools and the process.

We've worked with Dean and the Grow or Die team for the last year and have seen a significant difference since working with them to implement EOS. Having an expert to help us effectively leverage the tools, overcome roadblocks, enable change and keep us accountable has been essential. It also helps that Dean and the team are incredibly friendly, professional and knowledgeable, which makes for a very productive partnership 🙂
